Site Supervisor Information
The following information is designed to give you the information you need to successfully supervise a student member of the SIS program.
If at anytime you have questions about the SIS program, please contact the SIS Coordinator on the SIS member's campus.
Expectations of an SIS Site Supervisor:
- To provide adequate training for member to perform direct service for your organization.
- To provide appropriate liability or similar insurance covering member while they are serving at your site.
- If a member has "recurring access" to children 17 and under, people 60 or older, and/or individuals with disabilities or if your organization requires a criminal record check be completed on all volunteers at your site, please submit a fully completed Criminal Record Check Verification Form
for the AmeriCorps member serving at your site. - To sign the member's site agreement, monthly time logs, complete mid-term evaluation (for 900 hr. term members only) and end-of term evaluation, and to monitor member's compliance regarding prohibited activities.

*NOTE: All time logs must be signed and dated by the member and site supervisor within 30 days of the end of the service month (ex. June time log signed and dated by July 30th, etc.)
