Service Phase: Managing the SIS Program
During the service phase, the CP does the following:
(1) Input Member time logs into New Timelog Database
Powerpoint: How to input time logs
How to determine whether the time log is inputable?
(2) Encourage members to submit a "Great Story":
Member Reflection is an important part of a member’s SIS experience. Submitting a great story gives the member an opportunity to reflect on their service and write about how their SIS experience has benefitted them and/or their community. SIS strongly encourages Campus Partners to have regular SIS reflection meetings every quarter or semester for all members so that they can share their experiences with each other and/or with potential SIS members.
(3) Encourage their members to recruit other students, friends, and family to volunteer in their community and for national days of service.
(4) Complete a Mid-Term Site Supervisor Evaluation once a 900 hr. member completes 450 hrs of service. CP can complete mid-term evaluation if they know they have been no conduct issues or unsatisfactory service. If there are questions, CP can contact site supervisor. For 900 hour members only.
Once member completes service hours, move on to the Exit Phase.
